This website exists as an extension of MCA’s longstanding programs serving the arts community of Minnesota, providing another tool to strengthen and to develop relationships with our members, volunteers, and all Minnesotans. Your privacy while visiting our site is important to us. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.

Information We Collect

Visitors can use the MCA website without revealing any personal information. MCA does not collect personal information without the consent of visitors. One only needs to provide personal information via our website for specific purposes such as processing a donation, corresponding with staff members, subscribing to an email newsletter, etc.

Use of Cookies

Cookies are text messages stored on your computer’s hard drive. The message is sent back to a website’s server each time your browser requests a page from the server that set the cookie.

MCA does not use cookies to track visitors on our website from session to session. We do collect aggregate traffic data to analyze trends and to help us improve our website. This data is not traceable to personal data from site visitors.

What We Do With Information We Collect

Personal information from members, Listserve subscribers, and site visitors sent to MCA via our website is used for MCA programs and services. MCA does not sell or lend mailing lists or other personal information to third parties for commercial purposes.

E-Mail Communications

E-mail correspondence from MCA staff members is clearly identified as originating from us. All e-mail from MCA staff members includes full MCA contact information.

All Listserve e-mail messages include a simple opt-out mechanism.

Material Fulfillment and Third Party Service Providers

To facilitate mncitizensforthearts.org’s offerings and services, on occasion certain selected user information must be made temporarily available to selected data processors such as fulfillment bureaus or database consultants. Such data processors are instructed to act strictly upon instruction from MCA, and the information remains private.
